Diagnose faults and prepare list of spare parts and tools required for repair. Clean and service equipment. Perform major repair work as necessary. Drive to project sites to inspect and repair heavy equipment. Repair engine and hydraulic systems of various brands for proper performance. Report damaged or faulty equipment to management. Perform preventative maintenance and examine parts for damage or excessive wear. Read equipment maintenance manuals and order necessary parts.
Special wage rate: Work to be performed on DPRI-funded projects and projects covered by Davis Bacon, Service Contracts Act, and/or Executive Order 14206 will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate but may be paid more where special rates apply.
